Insh'Allah you are reading this in the best of health and highest of Imaan.
We are Islam Radio Philippines, Muslim broadcasters based in Manila, Philippines spreading the Message of Islam to the world via YouTube and Podcast.
Our hosts are:
Brother Saifullah – American convert to Islam who has experience in instructional lectures and motivational speaking in addition to previously working for an American-based humanitarian aid organization.
Sister Rashida – A 40 year veteran of radio work in the Philippines including scriptwriting, voice talent, drama direction and production, vocal coaching, dubbing supervisor, dubber, host and broadcaster.
Sister Fatimah – Experienced in radio voice talent, project coordinator, co-producer of live drama productions, scriptwriter and holds ongoing dawah lectures in her home outside of metro Manila.
Sister Aishah – Also experienced in radio voice talent, dubbing and commercial voice work.
Our Programs are:
The Message of Islam (formerly “The Message”) – An English-language program scripted and hosted by Brother Saifullah. This program attempts to tackle various topics of interest within Islam and make the issues relevant and accessible to both Muslims and Non-Muslims. Topics range from historical information about the Prophets to explanation of the way that Haraam and Halal items are determined according to Islamic law.
Sisters in Islam (formerly “Women in Islam”) – A Tagalog-language program scripted and hosted by Sister Rashida with co-hosts (providing their own research and material) Sisters Fatimah and Aishah. This program condenses information relevant specifically to women or gears information toward a female perspective within Islamic understanding. Topics range from interviews with convert women to the nature of choosing a spouse the Islamic way.
The Message of Islam in Tagalog – This program is hosted by talented Pinoys whose mother language is Tagalog and translations are done by Sister Rashida. The demand for a purely Tagalog version of The Message was overwhelming, so this show was created to fill the need since the Metro Manila area is divided among those who understand English and those who only understand Tagalog.
Muslim Drama Theater – This groundbreaking program is written by Sister Rashida. Never before in the Philippines (perhaps the world) have Muslim issues been brought to life in a dramatic form. This program presents real-world issues in the lives of everyday Muslims that are directly addressed by authentic Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). The drama is followed by a discussion which illustrates with deeper meaning how the Hadith has been applied to solve the problem presented.
Please view our videos and listen to our podcasts, this LiveJournal (and other Blogs) have been created to give our viewers and listeners a place to provide feedback to each episode. We will make regular posts with each episode so that it can be discussed freely.

We refrain from political statements and only make social commentary. We do not entertain any political opinions on our programs as no political agenda exists in Islam, only social ideologies are expressed.
